What brands get wrong about “optimizing for AI”
A lot of AI visibility advice is either too vague or too tactical. The more useful question is what makes a brand easy to summarize with confidence.
I like writing about the practical side of modern search: what has changed, what still matters, and how brands can build clearer systems instead of chasing every new tactic that appears online.

Sometimes the site is publishing enough. The real problem is that the architecture makes important pages harder to understand, support, and rank.
A durable content strategy needs stronger sequencing, better topic ownership, and fewer disconnected ideas fighting for attention.
People compare, validate, and summarize information across more surfaces now. Search strategy has to reflect that broader path.
I am most interested in the gap between what search advice sounds like in theory and what actually helps a site become clearer in practice. That usually leads back to structure, trust, specificity, and useful topic depth.
If I write something here, it will probably lean practical. Less trend commentary, more “what should you do with this on an actual website.”
I am always more interested in useful ideas than hot takes.
